And I don't mean to sound like an asshole, but it's how I feel. I spend anywhere from 2-3 hours searching for a decent free host, setting the board up, and then trying to conform it to the requests people throw me, and people are like, "Oh, it's another board. It's too hard to click the link and register."
At no point in time have I been compensated for any of this. Not with RFB, not with this board, not with anything. Unless you count headaches and stress as compensation, that is. I'm trying to find the best I can offer to you guys, because I know Hostboard has some shitty options, but I just can't pay for hosting right now, so we don't have many options here. All this is done because I want to give you guys a decent place to post where we don't have to worry about some fuckwit coming in and causing trouble or flaming or whatever. I get absolutely nothing out of it except for people telling me that this sucks and that sucks and they don't want to click the link or register or whatever.

I find it interesting that some people don't like other people that criticize McFarlane for the quality and detail of a product we pay good money for. But they themselves find it easy to criticize a service provided by someone who doesn't get paid at all.
Dude, I'm not criticizing you for the board or anything. I'm just saying I don't really want to sign up for another board. It's not that I think it's too much effort, I just don't feel like registering at a million different boards.
I understand if a new board will make things easier for you. If everyone goes there, that's cool. Maybe some day I'll sign up, maybe I won't. I don't post much here anyway, since nobody else really does either. If this board is shut down, I'll just move along and make any decisions from there.
Beleive me, I'm not trying to belittle you or anything.
And personally, I don't care how fancy the board is. This board is just dandy for me, and I guess that's why I don't particularily understand the need to go to a different board.
